Where to Check Your Balance
Your HSA/FSA balance is managed by your admin, not by Crates. Here's how to find it:
Step 1: Identify Your Admin
Look at your benefits card — it usually shows the admin name. Common ones: - HealthEquity → healthequity.com - Fidelity → fidelity.com - Optum Bank → optumbank.com - HSA Bank → hsabank.com - Bank of America → healthaccounts.bankofamerica.com - WEX → wexinc.com - Navia → naviabenefits.com - FSAFEDS → fsafeds.gov
Step 2: Log In
Visit your admin's website or download their mobile app. Log in with your account credentials.
Step 3: Find Your Balance
Look for "Account Balance," "Dashboard," or "My Account." Your available balance will be displayed.
Tips
Check your FSA balance before year-end - Remember, FSA funds expire. Know how much you have left before the deadline.
HSA balance includes invested funds - If you've invested part of your HSA, your "available cash" balance may be lower than your total balance. You may need to sell investments to free up cash for reimbursements.
