How to Request a Refund

  1. Start a chat using the widget in the bottom-right corner of our site

  2. Let us know that you'd like a refund and a bit about why

  3. We'll process it - most refunds are completed within a few business days

That's it. We're not going to make you jump through hoops.


Common Refund Scenarios

"I haven't used my LMN yet"

If you signed up but haven't used any LMNs, we're happy to process a full refund. Just let us know.

"I accidentally purchased the wrong plan"

No problem. We can either refund you or switch you to the right plan, whichever you prefer.

"Someone else made a purchase on my account"

We understand this happens (kids, family members, etc.). Reach out to us and we'll sort it out.

"I'm not satisfied with the service"

We want every Crates member to feel good about their experience. If something didn't meet your expectations, tell us what happened. We're always looking to improve, and your feedback genuinely helps.

"My HSA/FSA claim was denied"

A claim denial doesn't mean Crates didn't do its job - it usually means the HSA/FSA admin needs more documentation. Before requesting a refund, check out our guide on what to do if your claim is denied. We can often help you get the claim approved on a second submission. But if you've tried and it's not working out, we'll work with you on a refund.

What if I used my HSA/FSA card to pay for Crates and need a refund? The refund goes back to your HSA/FSA card. You may need to note the refund in your records for tax purposes. If your HSA/FSA admin asks, we can provide documentation of the refund.
